Use Your Transitions in Movie Maker 2

You don't have to be a geek to use TM2, but it helps if you have a passion for producing movies with amazing transitions, and your computer skills include:

• Cutting a video clip in a collection and using MM2's snapshot feature. That's often my starting point for making a custom transition to lead into a video clip.

• Finding a still picture file in a folder on your hard drive and copying it to another folder.

• Sizing, resizing or cropping still images to prepare them for use in Movie Maker 2 or as the starting point for transitions.

None of these tasks are difficult and you should be comfortable doing them. And if you need to, ask a friend for some help until you are proficient.

There are 7 sections of the tutorial. For ease in getting to the section you want, having two or more sections open at the same time, and contining to use the Movie Maker website as you use the tutorial, a new browser window opens whenever you select a link to one of the sections. Just close that window when you're finished with it.

Use the hot links in the list of sections at the right to go to the one you want. Click on either the underlined link or the associated image.
