PapaJohn's Products and Services
While the book is rich in text and graphics, this companion adds the dimensions of sound and video. Combined, they provide an amazing multimedia experience, one which will change and grow with you as you learn and enhance your movie making skills.
Browse the book as your movies are rendering, and then check here for any newer or more in depth information about any of the topics covered. The online companion is organized just like the book's chapters and sections, making it easy to go back and forth between the two.
And, as you need them, the problem-solving sections of the website are just a mouse-click away.
Welcome!
Here's a 30 second clip produced with Movie Maker 2 (1.5 MB file - give it a minute to show up). I shot the footage with a Hi8 camcorder at an airshow in Chicago in 2002, used a free third party utility to rotate it a bit, then added one of the video effects from the Plus! pack, and a little text in Movie Maker. Topping it off is a music segment from a couple CDs donated by a local band.
Of course, there are a few in-between steps, which you'll be learning about as you go. You'll quickly and easily be creating and distributing movies that are much more amazing than this one.
