On our 3rd trip to Europe we mixed some familiar places in Switzerland and Italy with new ones in Cinque-Terre and Istanbul. The vacation was wonderful.
- (1, 8) Zurich was the starting and ending point for the first and longest leg of the trip. We rented a car to tour Switzerland and Italy... then flew to Istanbul for the rest of the vacation
- (2) Gimmelwald, Switzerland (some content is up and more will follow)
- (3) Florence
- (4) Rome
- (5) Cinque-Terre
- (6) Venice
- (7) Lucignano (Tuscan hill town) with side trips to Siena, Deruta, Cortona, and Montepulciano
- Istanbul
Our first two European vacations were long enough ago that we used an analog camera and put pictures in an album. Today, armed with digital cameras and the internet, we'll use this website to share highlights and show you some of the 9,000 digital pictures and 20 hours of video we took. Click around and enjoy.
